Terms and Conditions of Participation for the Contest “Find the Gingerbread Man”

These terms and conditions govern participation in the contest “Find the Gingerbread Man,” organized by:

Participation in the contest is free of charge and subject exclusively to these conditions.
1. Eligibility
Eligible participants are natural persons acting in a private capacity who have reached the legal minimum age of their country of residence. Participation on behalf of or under the name of companies, organizations, or legal entities is excluded. Employees of Die Schittigs GmbH, their relatives, and employees of participating cooperation partners are excluded from participation.
2. Participation and Procedure
Participation is free and not linked to the purchase of goods or services. To participate, users must find the hidden gingerbread man on https://tuerchen.com/de/privat/darum-tuerchen and then complete and submit the online participation form. Each person may participate only once. Multiple entries (e.g., using different email addresses) or automated participation are not permitted. The deadline for participation is October 25, 2025; the form’s timestamp is decisive.
3. Prizes
Among all valid entries, three (3) Türchen PRO calendars will be raffled. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Exchange or substitution is excluded. Winners are responsible for any taxes arising from the prize.
4. Selection and Notification
Winners will be determined by random draw within two weeks after the closing date. Notification will be sent by email to the address provided in the participation form. The prize will then be shipped or made available to the winner.
5. Data Protection
To participate, personal data must be provided. These will be used solely for conducting the contest and deleted no later than six months after its conclusion, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

6. Termination of the Contest
Die Schittigs GmbH reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time for important reasons or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice. In such cases, there is no entitlement to participation or prizes.
7. Liability
Die Schittigs GmbH is not liable for technical malfunctions, transmission errors, or data loss, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. This limitation does not apply in the event of injury to life, body, or health.
8. Legal Recourse and Applicable Law
Legal recourse is excluded. Only the law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
9. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible regulation that most closely reflects the original intent.
