Terms and Conditions of Participation for the Contest “Find the Santa Hat”

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the contest “Find the Santa Hat”, organized by:

Participation in the contest is free of charge and is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

Eligible to participate are natural persons of legal age in their country of residence who are acting on behalf of a company or organization.
Employees of Die Schittigs GmbH, their relatives, and employees of participating cooperation partners are excluded from participation.

2. Participation and Procedure

Participation is free of charge and not linked to the purchase of any goods or services.

Participation takes place by finding the hidden Santa hat on https://tuerchen.com/en/company/why-tuerchen and subsequently completing and submitting the online participation form.

Each company may only participate once. Multiple entries (e.g., using different e-mail addresses) and participation through contest agencies are not permitted.

The closing date for entries is October 25, 2025. The timestamp of the submitted form is decisive.

3. Prizes

Among all valid entries, the following prize will be awarded:

1× Türchen Business Calendar

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash. An exchange is excluded. The tax responsibility for the prize lies with the winner.

In addition, all participants will receive:

  • One voucher code for a 10% discount on a Türchen Calendar, valid for the following bundles: Business, Premium, Enterprise. Redeemable at tuerchen.com until December 31, 2025.

  • One voucher code for a 20% discount on a Heggs Basket, redeemable at heggs.com until December 31, 2025.

4. Selection and Notification

The winner will be determined within two weeks after the closing date through a random draw.

Notification will be sent via e-mail to the address provided in the participation form.
Voucher codes will be sent directly by e-mail.

5. Data Protection

Participation requires the provision of personal data. These data will be used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest and will be deleted no later than six months after its conclusion, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
No data will be passed on to third parties without explicit consent.

Participants have the right at any time to request information, correction, deletion, or to object to the processing of their data. Requests should be directed to:

6. Termination of the Contest

Die Schittigs GmbH reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time for important reasons or in the event of unforeseen circumstances without prior notice. In such cases, there is no entitlement to participation or prizes.

7. Liability

Die Schittigs GmbH is not liable for technical malfunctions, transmission errors, or data losses, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
This limitation does not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health.

8. Legal Recourse and Applicable Law

Legal recourse is excluded. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply exclusively.

9. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
In place of the invalid provision, a legally permissible provision shall apply that most closely reflects the intended purpose.

10. Public Relations

By participating in the contest, the winner agrees that the following information may be published by Die Schittigs GmbH as part of the contest coverage:

  • Name of the organization or project

  • Location of the organization

  • Project description

  • Image material of the activity

Publication may occur on the Die Schittigs GmbH website, on social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), in press releases, and in other communication channels.
The purpose is to highlight inspiring projects and emphasize the charitable nature of the initiative.

Personal data of individuals (e.g., names or identifiable photos) will only be published with separate, explicit consent.
Consent to publication can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. Revocation does not affect the awarding of the prize.
